ALL THINGS ARE FOUND IN GOD 1

6-7 IN MY PROSPERITY I SAID, “This is forever; nothing can stop me now! THE LORD HAS SHOWN ME HIS FAVOUR. HE HAS MADE ME STEADY AS A MOUNTAIN.” Then, LORD, YOU TURNED YOUR FACE AWAY FROM ME AND CUT OFF YOUR RIVER OF BLESSINGS. SUDDENLY MY COURAGE WAS GONE; I WAS TERRIFIED AND PANIC-STRICKEN.
8 I CRIED TO YOU, O LORD; OH, HOW I PLED."
Psalm 30:6-8 (the Living Bible)

• Without God's favour, there is a limit to what human strength can achieve. It is God Who makes things work.

• If a thing is working; progressing or succeeding, It is because God is there or involved.
• And If it seems things are not working in a believer's life, you would have to call on or cry to God: "I CRIED OUT TO YOU, O LORD. I BEGGED THE LORD FOR MERCY, . . . " (Psalm 30:8 NLT).
• The core of Christianity is all about conversing with God every time and every day of your life. God wants to be part of all you do. This is all about spiritual living—worshipping God in the spirit and truth (John 4:23,24).
• When you converse with God always, that is, His thoughts are dominant in your Heart; It thus means you are walking in the spirit. Your spirit, the inward Man, is having a communion with God through the Holy Spirit on the inside of you—your spirit.

• If you are enjoying the goodness of God, His prosperity or abundance; do not take it for granted.

• If you had seen the good side of God; protection, mercy, and favour, do not take it for granted or lightly.
• The psalmist was saying, when the LORD turned away from him, he was shattered or troubled.
• If God's defence; protection, provision, and sustenance, was removed for a while, you would discover your nakedness, helplessness or inability.
• If you are standing like a mountain, As said by the psalmist, because of God's goodness in your life; do not despise or trivialize His doing—what He has done.
  It is God's favour and goodness that makes you stand like a mountain.
• Note: nothing is gotten accidentally in the Kingdom. This is the reason why a Believer should always acknowledge God As the source of all good things; appreciate Him and attribute the glory of his or her successes to Him—God:
  "EVERY GOOD GIFT AND EVERY PERFECT GIFT IS FROM ABOVE, AND COMES DOWN FROM THE FATHER OF LIGHTS, WITH WHOM THERE IS NO VARIATION OR SHADOW OF TURNING" (James 1:17 NKJV).

• It is when you take God's goodness for granted, He would want to show you that He made you, whatever you are today—your present success or blessing is by or through Him, God.

• The psalmist probably took God's goodness for granted; but when He, God, withdrew His presence, the psalmist saw his nakedness or nothingness. That is without God, he was nobody. He said, he was shattered or troubled (Psalm 30:7).
• It was when Adam and Eve ate the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil, which God told or instructed them not to eat; then they discovered that they were naked (Genesis 3:6,7).
• The glory or the Aura of God would always be over and around you, your life, to cover or shield you; As long as you remain in Him, or you keep your fellowship or communion with Him intact.
• However, when you ventured to turn your back against God, or defied or disobliged His commands, you would see the other side of Him—which is the side of regrets and sorrows.
• When God turns away from a believer, the success comes to an end. Thus keep your fellowship or communion with Him and do not despise His goodnesses nor take them for granted (Romans 2:4).

• Do not be wearied of God's care and protection. When some have been enjoying God's hand of goodness for a long time, they tend to take it for granted and commonise it.

• They would think, It has always been like that for everyone. They would no longer see the goodness or blessings of God on their lives As a privilege.
• They would say there is no big deal in it. It happens for everyone. However, It is not true, It is God's special goodness or blessing. May you not get to the point where you would begin to commonise or trivialize God's goodness in your life.
• Some have enjoyed the goodness of God so much that they have seen it As the Norm. They do not see it As a miracle or the doing of God again. They want to believe it happens thus, As it is happening to them, for every Dick and Harry.
• When you get to this point in your walk with God, you become complacent and apathetic. And the complacency would lead to indifference to the Word of God.

• You will not fail in Jesus' name.

• Should there be an ailment in your body, receive your healing now in Jesus' name.
• Hold of sicknesses or whatever is against your health, is completely broken in Jesus' name.

STEPS TO SALVATION
• Take notice of this:
IF you are yet to take the step of salvation, that is, yet to be born-again, do it now, tomorrow might be too late (2 Corinthians 6:1,2; Hebrews 3:7,8,15).
a. Acknowledge that you are a sinner and confess your Sins (1 John 1:9); And ask Jesus Christ to come into your life (Revelation 3:20).
b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, Thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
c. As you took the steps A and B your name is written in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3; 3:8).

• If you took the steps As highlighted above, congratulations, It means you are saved—born-again. Join a Word based church in your area and Town or city, and be part of whatever they are doing there. Peace!
