The Journey Begins

If you happen to be a blogger yourself, you might now that the title and the photo are there by default when you start a new blog. I thought that both are quite decent so I shall keep them and yes, this is a journey, and it will be probably a long one.

I have been previously blogging in Finnish way back in the time, and I also happen to follow mainly Finnish, and for the longest time, I thought that I’m not merely able to write my thoughts down in English as I was surrounded by Finnish language and culture for most of my life. But then 2014 I moved to Spain, and since then I have been listening less Finnish, but more English and Spanish, so much that my Finnish has started to weaken and it’s not clear to me what language is currently stronger for me, English or Finnish.

So what this has to do with this blog? Well, I met a guy (isn’t that how all the great stories begin) And now three months and some days later it has turned my life upside down, and that is what I want to write about in this blog. Instead of one dog and a small studio apartment in Torremolinos, I have now two dogs, cat, slightly larger house and one million projects that seems ever ending and also the best guy in the world.

So life is fantastic, and as I’m minimalist and not good with journaling, I thought I could preserve all the memories and things we have done together in this blog. When I asked about a month back his opinion about my blogging, I got the most loving and supportive reaction. “Yes! When are you going to start?”

So here I’m, blogging about my lifestyle, I guess, and I have heard that it’s the worst choice if you want to be a successful blogger. I could not care less about that. This blog is not a calculative thing to make more money or get out a 9-5 job; it’s just a way to express myself once again thru writing.
