Finding the Starting Line

139 days into my SteemIt journey and I finally hit the starting line. My account now has 15 SP. SteemIt removed the last of the delegation from my account and I am now my own little specimen of plankton!

My upvote is still only worth a tenth of a penny. But that tenth of a penny is entirely my tenth of a penny.

Best of all, as I muddle along from here, my upvote will start being worth more than a tenth of a penny. I imagine that it could be worth a whole penny by this time next year.

The picture for the post is an idealized rendition of rolling foot hills that I did in high school. I could afford only one canvas. I realized after painting the picture that it was unlikely that I would ever get to the point where I could make a painting that was worth more than the materials used to make the painting. I took the picture in full sunlight as I wanted to show the great finish that I got on the piece.

The video shows the start of the 2010 Salt Lake Marathon. I've come to see the illusive 15SP milestone as the starting point. I wanted to upload the HD version to D-Tube, but I couldn't find it, but the computer the file is on is being temperamental today.
