The strange thing i noticed about learning a new subject

So i noticed that i learn better if i tackle a subject from the other side, by first reading the end of the book and climing chapters reversibly, why ? Because when i start reading a book from a new subject i get fixated in the beggining and have lots of questions and it's driving me crazy, so having a task or exersize first and when unreveling solution from the other side gives me more motivation to learn that subject, and when i reach the introduction chapter i can see a bigger picture of the project and what possibilities are there to do after you learn something new.
