I tried SOLA and got in a whole debate about original content and copyright which left a bad feeling with me for the site
Also I found it doesn’t have the sense of community that I have found on here

Yes, I noticed right off that copyright means nothing over there for sure. Original content is also a concept that they know nothing about either for the most part. I made it a point though for myself not to get into any debates over those things though. I look at it as I am entering their space and if that is their accepted behaviors it is not my place to try and change them.
There are some "communities" that seem to be forming but they are few and far between, the homestead folks seem to be leading in that regard over there.
Yes, it may not be for everyone, but I really do like seeing pictures from other parts of the world and the site is loaded with those, plus I keep my mouse over the "skip" button so I can zip right through them pretty quickly.
Being a photographer I am a bit sensitive about copyright and plagiarism so I will stay away or I will get myself in trouble lol

Yes, I could see why you would be a bit sensitive, seeing how photographs are your lively hood. If I see any of yours I recognize I'll let you know.
Well it’s not my livelihood just a hobby but I have many friends fir whom it is their livelihood so it is something that gets under my skin sometimes
