Anger on YouTube after stopping advertising service for thousands of channels

YouTube faces a great deal of anger among users after it stopped thousands of channels from advertising, which had a negative impact on their monthly income.

The video site said it changed its rules policy, for the second time in nine months, on channels that are allowed to show ads.

The previous policy allowed channels to host ads if they had 10,000 views.

However, things have changed today, as the rules have forced the channel to provide them with 4,000 hours of "viewing time" over the past 12 months, in addition to attracting 1000 subscribers and 10,000 views.

The new policy angered the "video bloggers," who said YouTube was squeezing them all the time, noting that "the new rules will have a negative impact on our monthly income."

"The competition will be strong and at the same time we will reduce channels and videos with weak and inappropriate content," a spokesman for YouTube said.
