8 Various Stone Variants Discussed in the Classical Book
KHAZANAH Islam, especially in the books of fiqh is not only rich in legal knowledge, it has a wide range of treasures including knowledge of mineral stones that are part of the object of law. Hajar nafis or hajar karim, is a term commonly used in the books of classical fiqh to call the precious stones. The jurisprudence of the discussion concerning the rocks of this mineral is a matter of thaharah or holiness, especially in the discussion of the law of the law (stoned) by using stones, also in the discussion of clouds aka vessels.

Zabarjad (Peridot)
Zabarjad in Mu'jam Musthalahat Al Fiqhiyah is called a precious stone similar to the emerald stone that has a color variant. A number of classical scholars interpret that the zabarjad is the same as the emerald, because there are similar colors between the two are equally green.

Az Zumurrud (Emerald)

Al Billaur (Crystal)
The stone which is also classed as fuqaha noble stone is a stone crystal alias. Al Mu'jam Al Wasith defines al billaur or al ballur as a transparent white stone .
This stone is also used for the eyes of the ring, necklace, prayer beads or lamp decoration.
Al Marjan (Corallium Rubrum)
Al Marjan is also classified as a precious stone even though it contains no minerals, but is a limb of coral species that grows on coral.
Arab noble stone expert, At Tifasyi mentions that al marjan is a mid-living creature between plants and objects. It resembles a petrified solid also similar to a plant because it grows in a leafy sea coral.

Al Lu'lu '(Pearl)

Al Fairuz (Turquoise)
