Day #005 Life changing Journey

 Hi. Today is 17.03.2017 and today was my fifth day of my “Life changing Journey”. 


My day started as usual with a meditation and I’m feeling I’m getting better at it, but still have many thoughts during the sessions, I also increase the time from 15 minutes to 20 minutes now. Today we had also a very warm sunny day and I used the opportunity to go for a run.  I run the same route as last time, just a little bit slower, because last time I was too fast at the beginning. 


At noon I did a power nap for 20 minutes, which was really great. Afterwards I felt very energetic. I decided to tidy up my room which took me almost 2 hours, because it was a total mess and it was absolutely necessary and it’s very nice to have a clean room in the end.  


Sometimes tidying and cleaning can help you to clear your mind and it also helped me to relax. It got me also thinking about the many things I have in my room and also the many things I’ve never used. It’s a shame that we are in possession of so many things and we actually don’t think about it much, we just take it for granted. I myself am not a minimalist, but I like the idea to have a more conscious living about our things and possessions. We should ask ourselves if we really need so many things. Next time I’ll buy something, I’ll ask myself if I really need it first.
