Official: Nokia Launches New Smartphone Known As Nokia 7.1 With 5.84 inch HDR10 Pure Display, 4GB Ram + Snapdragon 636

Smartphone giant Nokia has made it known in recent times of their desire to launch a brand new smartphone this month(October, 2018) and it all looks like they have. As at the time of writing this post, it seems all the works have been putting into place leading to the unveiling of a new smartphone by Nokia.

Nokia's latest flagship is known as Nokia 7.1 and it will come in two variants (3GB ram + 32GB Rom & 4GB ram + 64GB Rom)

Powered by android 8.0 Oreo which is upgradable to android 9.0 pie and a battery of about 3060mAh which Nokia claims could charge up to 50% in just 30 minutes due to its fast charging capability.

Nokia 7.1 Specifications

  • Memory: They come in two variants. One with 3GB ram + 32GB rom and another with 4GB ram + 64GB rom

  • Processor: Snapdragon 636 + Adreno 509 Gpu

  • Display: 5.84 inch Pure HDR10 Display with a notch

  • Security: Facial recognition technology, Fingerprint sensor etc

  • Operating System: Android 8.0 Oreo

  • Camera: 12mp + 5mp dual zeiss camera and an 8mp frontal camera which supports facial recognition technology. Both cameras has been tested to perform quite well in good lighting conditions and poor lighting conditions.

  • Battery: 3060mAh battery capacity which also supports fast charging via its USB-type C charging port

  • Price: The 3gb ram + 32gb variant will be priced at $350 while The 4gb ram + 64gb variant will be priced at $400
