I am glad that there is a platform such as steemit where no one owns the data, except for the users. Data is power and companies, such as Facebook and Google, and directly people such as Mark Zuckerberg are becoming way too powerful because they have so much personal data about people. I would argue that those guys are now more powerful than kings and emperors of the old day.
