Marriage

She had been married for nearly ten years, and though the routine of daily life sometimes felt predictable, she carried her role with quiet strength. To outsiders, she was simply “a married woman” but within her heart lived a world of layered experiences—joy, struggle, compromise, and growth.

In the mornings, she often woke before her husband and children, standing by the kitchen window while the sun rose slowly over the rooftops. That brief silence before the house stirred was her favorite moment of the day. It reminded her that she was more than just a wife or mother—she was still Sophia, the girl who once dreamed of traveling, writing, and painting.

Her marriage was not perfect. There were days of disagreements, of unspoken frustrations that built up like clouds in the sky. Yet, she and her husband had learned the art of conversation and forgiveness. They discovered that love was not only about passion and excitement but about patience, respect, and the willingness to start over each morning.
