RE: Blogging with consistency is hard! And I'm failing at it...
I went quiet for 3 months around NYE.
The longer it goes, the easier it is to put it off another day.
Analysis paralysis
Don't beat yourself up, mate.
Long term it's more about quality than quantity.
When the price starts pumping, people are going to start posting more frequently, and their followers are going to struggle to keep up with their feed.
They'll have to start culling, and who do they start with?
The infrequent poster who puts in a lot of effort, or the cowboy who fires rapidly from the hip without careful reflection?
Thanks again for my video
Thanks for the encouragement! That's exactly what I meant to overcome with this little post as it is really easy to put everything off. Analysis paralysis is exactly what I'm struggling with and it's not a new thing for me when dealing with things I'm not used to. So I want to get some consistency in my posting not just for the rewards, but more for myself and my balance. I think it's a nice habit and I really like the interaction with fellow steemians like yourself and others in the community.
Making the video for you was a pleasure. I hope your friends responded well to it and that it has helped create at least one new steemian. Even if it hasn't, I hope it has at least been a chink in their armor that you're going to break down eventually ;)
Lots of my friends have seen it, as have many steemians.

This is a great post and great way to invite people over to steem! It's a mini onboarding guide and I think its awesome! I need to remember to share this with people getting videos so they can be inspired to use them effectively as your post is so much more than just sharing a video. Great job on that!
I shared it on facebonk with at least 20 irl friends, and it went quite well here too.
I had two real life friends join just today.
@george-e and @dblstr
That's awesome! Let me give them a follow ;) I recently managed to convince my significant other to start posting despite the fact that she got her account in July - @naydenova
She's stunning :) Following her.
but not in a creepy way
LOL! :D Thank you!
