About Restarting

Greetings, travelers!

I've truly missed writing for the past few weeks, but life got really serious all of a sudden, and we need to make compromises. I did not fully stop writing, though, but it's been mostly for myself lately.

To be honest, I really restarted my journey writing here a little bit over two years ago, when I was laid off my job position at the time. It was difficult, but it was also an opportunity that I was able to seize, since I don't think I would've been able to graduate that year if I had kept all of the responsibilities I was having to balance. But it did not make it any easier nor simpler.

I was able to reconnect to two Brazilian friends that I made via Steemit years ago, back in 2018 when I first explored this singular ecosystem, the legendaries @wagnertamanaha and @casagrande . It's the connections made that are, or at least in my opinion should be, the most valuable thing we can create in this unique digital place.

I was not here during the hive/communities shenanigans, but at least due to contributing to a special one called Popular STEM, given my Maker and mathematical background, I was able to connect with the great @remlaps, one of the keepers of the community, and one od my first English speaking interlocutor in this new chapter. Through his blog, I also got in touch with the content and contriutions from @the-gorilla, to whom I own an apology for not being able to participate in the Fantasy 4-2-3-1 when it was proposed. It's just been a roller-coaster of a year, but I was really grateful for the invite; maybe in July, when the new European season starts? Or even testing it out in the FIFA Clubs World Cup happening in the near future...

I took this photo of me and Bella more than a month ago, but it was a really unique moment and I missed eternalizing them on my blog, so here I am!

I'm also proud to share that part of the motive for my absence has been some work I've been doing with programming and AI, so maybe I'll finally delve into contributing with the Steem blockchain in a different way someday...

This post's objective, beyond the post itself, is to help me go back to organizing my thoughts into words, verbalizing the complexities of the realities each of us construct via our own special manner of perceiving existence, and trying to restart at each new day, each new moment. It's at each and every single moment that we have the opportunity to try our best! So I hope you too, can invite yourself to restart, and try your best; if not for you, for your loved ones, and their loved ones, and their their loved ones. Maybe we can still build a better world, a little bit at every moment. Have a good one, traveler (:
