Black Panther..the movie

I AM IN LOVE!!!

Today we saw the new movie, The Black Panther.
What an amazing movie.

The casting was in my opinion, spot on. Each brought so much to the character they were portraying.

The designs for the clothing worked truly well. Even the small pieces of jewelry worked with each character. Nothing was blown up, or made in to a statement of any kind. It was very refreshing to see.

Having two boys who have been, and still is, absolutely in love with computer games, as well as a hubby who works in said industry, I have had the pleasure and good fortune to follow the development and evolution of computer graphics, and what it can do. This has been up close and a bit too close at times.

When the games started to evolve from plastic looking stiff figures in to better looking characters than a normal human, things changed dramatically. With this also came the scenery in games. The games became better than a normal movie.

This change I find Black Panther has taken to an absolute new level. The scenery and how the CG characters interact is such a pleasure to watch. The actors has pulled this blue/green screen off so much better than I have seen in other movies. ( The one that comes to mind is Star Wars and the CG general. Someone needs to go back to school and learn about eyes. Just saying...).

This movie was for me an enjoyment to watch, and it could have gone on a little bit longer. I don't want to write any spoilers, so I have only written in a generic way. One other thing made this one stand out differently than other Marvel or D.C. Comics, it didn't feel old or like you had seen some parts before. It felt new.

Very rarely I will write about a movie I have seen, this one changed that.
