Escaped from death snake: Thankful Thursday

Hello friends!
Today I'm grateful for life and protection.
You'll never appreciate someone or something until you are caught so close to death.

death is always lurking around the corner, looking for a prey.

So I remember going to the farm alone, which was a very long distance away from the house.
Normally, my aunt don't allow an individual to go alone, but that day I decided to go fetch some farm products.
After getting what I needed, I rested my back on a tree, to catch my breath.
Immediately I took a step away from the tree, a big green snake fell down from the tree, when I turned back it was staring at me.
I couldn't run, don't know the counter attack for a snake.
Well I had my cutlass with me, so I started swinging it, left right left, to scare the snake.
The snake ran into a bush leaving me frightened, I couldn't follow it since It was a farm na, everywhere was green.


See friends, if that snaked had bitten me, who would have known, for I was the only one in the farm that day.
Till today I didn't tell my aunt bout my close up with a death snake.
So I'm grateful for life and protection.
