RE: Thoughts on Aging

in #blog7 years ago

Nice post (as always), but...I'm guessing you're approaching, or have just passed 30 (from its content).

Do you know what I'd give to be approaching, or just passed my 30th Birthday again??. Try writing this in your 40's ;)

Having said that, I still feel the same as I did in my twenties. The only thing which really changes as you get older, is that time passes much faster - as I'm sure you're starting to notice already!

Sort:

I am currently 35, child-free (planning to change that), chronically ill, grumpy and suffering from the weather being a bitch today. So... yeah. Time passes faster and there are gradually more people younger people who are interesting and less of the older ones. Also, discovering that the father of a friend of yours is your husband's age... well... it's brain-breaking.

LOL! I have to go pick my daughter (who's 5) up from school. I'm closer to the age of the grandparents picking up their grand-kids than I am of most of the other parents who'll be there :) I care not - when life gives you lemons...they give you IBS!

You just described my week.

Stop whining kid!
What hits me is that people start following me. I'm becoming a authority to some.
Also, the group of people in their forties disappeared at work. They are my peers now.
