Travel
This summer, I’ve decided to finally take a break and go on a trip I’ve been thinking about for a while. After months of working non-stop and being stuck in the same routine, I realized I needed a change of scenery — something refreshing, exciting, and maybe even a little adventurous. So I’m planning a summer getaway, and just thinking about it already lifts my mood.
My destination isn’t fully set yet, but I’m leaning toward somewhere with both nature and a bit of culture. I’ve been eyeing a coastal town — a place where I can wake up to the sound of waves, sip coffee by the sea, and stroll through local markets in the afternoon. Ideally, it’ll be a place with charming streets, friendly locals, and hidden spots to explore.
This time, I want my trip to be slow-paced. I don’t want to cram my schedule with tourist attractions or rush from place to place. Instead, I want to take my time — to read a book under a tree, to watch the sunset without checking the clock, to try unfamiliar food from street vendors, and to talk to strangers who might become memories.
Of course, I’ll bring my camera, a journal, and a playlist full of summer songs. And while I might share a few photos online, this trip is mostly for myself — to reset, to breathe, and to reconnect with the world outside my screen.
Summer always feels too short, but this year, I want it to feel meaningful. So even if it’s just a short trip, I’m hoping it will leave me with stories to tell, a calmer mind, and maybe even a new perspective on things.
