International Women's Day 2019 #Balanceforbetter
International women's day is a day that is set aside to celebrate the achievements of women politically, socially, as well as in the area of gender equality. In most African countries today, women are not allowed to partake in politics. When the courageous ones do, at some point they're being forced or threatened to step down.
Companies and other organizations too are not left out as they're some roles that can be handled by women but are not given to them. Simply because it's a "man's" job. This is mostly common in the leadership and information technology roles.
Hopefully with time, their views will change and women will be allowed to handle even more challenging positions, be it in a private or public sector.
To the amazing, strong and wonderful women around the word, that have strived to make the voices of women heard, I am wishing you all a "Happy International Women's Day"
