Cancelling One Contabo Server in Two Weeks

I have purchased two CloudCone servers 3 days ago, and started to move applications around. I have currently moved the hivemind from Contabo to CloudCone , however, it seems a bit slow for hivemind to catch up.

I decided to cancel a contabo server, because the price [will be increased](Contabo Increase Prices and Here is what they says) after April.

Contabo still insists on price increase

Unfortunately, neither a downgrade of your server nor a direct upgrade to a parallel model of the new series is possible. However, you can check your Control Panel for other upgrade options.

  • Switch to a new server: You can order a new server from our product line at https://contabo.com/en/vps/
  • Data transfer: You can easily transfer your data to the new server using WinSCP. A step-by-step guide on how to use this tool can be found here: https://contabo.com/blog/en/data-transfer-with-winscp-2/.
  • Cancellation right: You can mark your server for cancellation at the end of its current billing period to avoid the price increase, allowing you to order a new server shortly before the cancellation date to prevent duplicate payments.

TLDR; in 2 weeks, I will only have one contabo server, which is used as the backup witness node

    Simple idea
    I advise you not to take anyone's words and get your website AdSense suspended, I will not give you any reply, I will just wait till tomorrow.
