In our time, it is thought that the mind is born of matter. By the study of biology, one begins by realizing that there was first matter, which, later, evolved until, in man, it developed and germinated as an intelligence, as a human intelligence; but according to the mystic, the phenomenon as a whole is a game of intelligence.

Often one wonders to what extent the mind has power over matter; The answer is that, since matter comes from the mind, the mind has all the power over matter. One becomes pessimistic after having tasted the power of thought to heal oneself or to heal others, and to have failed; We begin to think that it is not the spirit that can help, it is something external.

  It does not mean for a moment that external things have no effect, but that the mind has all the power to heal a person from any disease. There is no doubt that, in order to heal any disease, the mind must reach such a high state that it can do so perfectly.

             The sensation that through the nervous conduits, through the veins and the hollow organs, circulates the divine blood, that is perfect, that is all, that is pure, it helps us in the highest degree. In other words, what is the disease? The disease is a disharmony. If disharmony causes disease and failure, then harmony brings healing. When we compare thought with belief, one is automatic, the other is more alive. And when a person says, "I believe, or I practice this every day, but I do not get any benefit from it," it simply means that he practices one thing and believes in another. She repeated, "I'm going to get better," and she believes something else: "I'm sick." belief makes even the power of medicine perfect, how much more will it be done by someone who believes in the power of the mind over matter. What happens, in general, is that we do not know if there is any spirit. Often, one wonders if the spirit exists, because what one knows is the problem. One day, traveling by boat, a young Italian came to me and said: "I only believe in eternal matter." I replied: "Your belief is not very different from mine." He was very surprised to hear a priest (He thought I was a priest) say such a thing. He asked: "What is your belief?" The secret of healing is to rise through the power of belief over the limitations of this world of variety, to be able to touch, through the power of intelligence, the unity of the whole Being. It is there where one takes charge of almighty power, and it is by the power of this realization that one can help oneself and help others in their sorrows and their suffering.
