In A Funk

When 2018 started, I had big plans. I wanted to be consistent with my blogging and my video creation. I wanted to continue to work on my running and workout more. But somewhere in the cold of winter however, I lost motivation.

I made a similar post earlier where I said that making excuses was over, it’s time to get things done, blah, blah, blah. Here we are almost a quarter of the way through the year and the excuses keep piling up. Heck, this is probably the millionth time I have come on here and started this post but closed it out and walked away.

Maybe I was being a bit ambitious, riding the high of a great 2017 that I had, and tried to bite off more than I could chew. Honestly, I became quite overwhelmed.

Now 2018 hasn’t been too bad in the fact that my buddies and I started a podcast, and have been doing that fairly consistently, but that is a group effort and doesn’t involve 100% me. If you are interested in the podcast check out

So that is why today, I have decided to pull back, re-focus, and take baby steps. Starting with this post. While it may not be much more than a vent, I am putting it out here. NO WALKING AWAY! This is what it is, the first step in breaking out of this slump.

Hey man, at least you haven't quit. There is no shame in starting over. I really like the honesty in this.
