Decadence; the last phase of a civilizations collapse

Decadence; is when a person or persons indulge in food/drinks or drugs and alcohol that are of the highest quality. It's happens when the society prospers to such an degree, but certain groups live below the poverty line but the others are living in decadence.

We can see it in the modern cooking shows. Endless master chef series and unhealthy foods are rife. All previous civilization have gone through theses phases and are a natural process that repeats itself instinctively.

We need to embrace a more minimalistic way of life as westerners. Because while we sit in pubs and grill's drinking brandy and cokes. Our peers are struggling in ghetto's to educate their children and keep them off the streets and gangs. And we as Afrikaners still look down at them and call them all kinds of names because they are uneducated. It should not be our job but our state is useless and we can full in the gaps. And there are many people making a difference. But I want more young working men getting involved instead of drinking it all down the drain. Because if we don't educate these peoples kids they will rise up to destroy us when they are at wits end.
