When I lived in The Netherlands, I took a few side trips to the Nordic Regions and was like a five-year-old when I saw my first reindeer.
This sleigh ride would have been a totally awesome event in my life. Did the boys like it? As if, right? These look huge and the ones I saw seemed smaller. I was thinking Elk size for sure! LOL
I hope you got up on the cable cars and went skiing! That place is pretty awesome!
We had a few set-backs, and in the end never got the chance to go downhill skiing. We had booked Friday night for renting some ski sets, but Leo hurt his hand on Thursday while tobogganing, we had to change plans.
The reindeer ride was a good distraction, and there were a lot of cute and friendly animals for both of them to see.
But I catched a cold, and had to drive 700km in a fever. We are now resting at my in-laws, and hopefully I'm in a bit better shape for the remaining 200km in the evening.
Awww! No kidding! Best laid plans and all that, right? Well, you sound like you have had a great time anyway, sans the fever.
I hope you get some rest and that the rest of the drive isn't too miserable. I will bet this is one of those times that there will be memories of this forever and a day. Who can ever forget having a reindeer sleigh ride?? I am pretty sure nobody - ever!
Little slow on that side. I did record some video when we were on the top of the Kultakero fell, and then from the reindeer sleigh ride but not much vlogging style. I was a bit preoccupied with the boys. :D
Yeah, me too... appears a frost-bite was the least of my problems. Caught a cold and had to drive 700km sick. We are resting overnight at my in-laws to get a bit better to drive the remaining 200km.

It was pretty nice. Great scenery and all, but I fear I got a slight frostbite in my toes. ;)

Heh, but sadly no. We don't have snow all year, so the reindeer will have some vacation time in the Summer.
