Motorcycle Encounters
Hello my Steemy friends! How is everyone this fine March morning?
Yesterday was the first truly beautiful day of 2020 in NY and Howie and I wasted no time taking advantage of it!
Really loving the new bike- for those of you who remember the Yellow V-strom, this is a considerably newer version of the model and it's kick-ass!
Took a ride down to Lodi point, and though the trees are still bare, there is definitely a feeling of spring in the air.
There's something about all the blue that lifts my mood, particularly after the dreary grey skies of the past few months.
I can almost see the boats and jet skis trafficking through the launch!
This, Howie speculated, is an individual who has lost their keys a time or two.
We were in mid chuckle over it when we met the individual- a delightfully quirky and animated woman named Claude. We ended up chatting with her for over an hour on subjects ranging from dogs to word affairs. It's awesome that these types of personal, engaging encounters still occur in this age of online.
And in a way it was a sign as we've been contemplating our fast approaching empty nest with ideas of a motorcycle travel blog/vlog.

It was just a tease, last couple days, it's heading for chilly and rainy for the rest of the week...so the weather gurus say anyway, haha we'll see!

Hey girl!! Hell yeah, we need to have a Meetup! Of course the weather's tanking again for a bit, but as soon as spring takes hold that's a plan!
I think there's going to be a Steem meet up here in June or July, I'll get the details.
