Best of Steemit Every Day: All About Love
Best of Steemit Every Day
Every day, I bring you six eight posts you should think hard about upvoting and supporting. These are quality posts, well written and good examples of the best the community has to offer. Please consider checking them out, and if you agree, love them up.
It gets better on Steemit every day. We could use more original fiction, but the photography is fantastic and good blog posts are everywhere. Writers, we should step up our game. I’ll do my part; this next week, I’ll put up a new piece of original fiction every day, just to fill out the category.
Today's Best
Writing (Fiction): Elle or Nothing at All by @johnjgeddes (who else?) Okay, look. I’m about to name this section the @johnjgeddes Writing Award, because he wins it all the bleeping time. Well, he absolutely should. This is part one of a three-part story: part 2 is here, and part 3 is here, and you can see the ending coming a mile out, and still you want it desperately and you’re thrilled when it comes. That’s why romance is the best-selling fiction genre for the eleven-hundredth year in a row.
Writing (Nonfiction): Who Knew This Could Be So Hard by @eliwasson. Our first teen winner here at BestOf, with a post on writing (always a winner for me). Writer’s block is real for a lot of people, and I think all of us can commiserate with Eli here. Just keep writing people. Imagine what your life would be like if Steemit had been around when you got a license to drive. And this is only the beginning.
Writing (Craft): Are You A Plotter Or A Pantser by @redhens. For me, Redhens is the top “craft” writer on Steemit, and that’s from a guy that often writes about craft (the process and details of how to write well). This is another excellent post, with video. Highly recommended.
Steemit community: One Month of Steemit: A Tale of Agonizing Progress by @the23chronicles. A good look at how to do Steemit wrong, and then how to do it right. I think we’ll be seeing @the23chronicles again on BestOf.
Introduceyourself: Hi Steemit! by @prudy. BestOf loves to highlight diverse voices and welcome them to the community, and it’s hard to get more unusual here than a young girl from South Africa. Check out one of our newest Steemians, and welcome her to the party.
Steem: Buying and Selling SBD in the Market by @jiva23. Simple, easy-to-understand explanation of how you can sell your SBD and convert it to SP in a couple of simple steps. It’s a good time to think about doing it, too.
Photography: The Blue Flowers: Five Photos, Five Stories by @sardrt. Love me some flowers, and these are lovely photographs, with short snippets of interesting writing to go with them. A perfect post, really.
Special Prize: Love Last Time by @hotvines. I’m not going to ruin this one by telling you anything about it. Just go look. You’ll be glad you did.
As always, suggestions for posts to honor are gratefully accepted.
Rules of the Best Of:
I don't like grammar and spelling errors. I make them, but I hate them. Unless the post is supremely brilliant, even a couple of these--especially in the title--will mean it doesn't make this list. NOTE: if you're writing in your second language, significant slack will be given here. When I write in my second language, I'm lucky if I can be understood at all.
Minnows--I am a minnow, and I'm all in on support for the newbies. Doesn't mean I won't curate a whale post, but it's unlikely. If your rating is over 70, you don't need my help (for whatever it's worth).
I don't do porn, however artful.
Original content only.
I take requests. Gratefully. But not for your own work. Push someone else into the spotlight.

Good one @cristof, thanks for the tips. As a new member, I like one month of steemit by @the23chronicles however other tips are also great..thanks for sharing
Anytime. I'm here six days a week. Sundays I rest. But any other day, BestOf will be out there with new links.
Hardworking guy, I am all bullish on steem too. Success to you buddy
Thank you. That's very kind of you.
welcome
thank you, @cristof. I appreciate your support. I'm continuing to discover new people to follow simply by reading your posts.
Then I'm succeeding. That was the idea right along.
