El classico, one of the most awaited match in the world of football. To football armatures El classico refers to any match between Real Madrid and Barcelona. So when did it began? The rivalry started way back in 1905; this was even before the Spanish Primera Division was formed. But the rivalry between the two clubs was not just about football but also political. This is because Barcelona and Real Madrid are the largest cities in Spain and they have different political views, with Real Madrid representing the Spanish nationalism and Barcelona representing the Catalans nationalism.

With five days remaining to the next El classic match, there is nothing really enticing for football lovers to watch the game. This is because both Messi and Ronaldo will miss the match. Ronaldo having transferred to Juventus at the begining of the season and Messi being ruled out due to an injury. Messi got his injury during their match against Sevilla where he landed badly on his elbow.
