RE: I started a wordpress blog and it is a million times better than this POS

Can't really blame anyone for leaving the platform.

The entire system was built to benefit those with the most investment, while creating barriers for noobs to really have a chance to break through. So much focus had been on getting bots for votes, and creating an atmosphere where people have little motivation to read others posting, but rather to upvote things that have already been upvoted for potential curation.

Then, how Steem has spread through to various tied in platforms (Dtube for ex), the delivery has shown clearly that the owners are more interested in quantity over quality.

The only reason to even bother posting is just to have a 'blog' that can be referenced to be posted on other sites.

Even the stats show this; payouts dropping, activity dropping, voting dropping, users like yourself turning elsewhere.

It makes sens when 99.04% of the accounts are minnows or 1 level above minnows, and 0.0000x% are whales who benefit to where they can upvote their own posts and be profitable that the disparity would become unsustainable.

From an owners perspective, there's nothing to fix because they profit massively on what was built.

Good luck.

Yeah man! I agree with everything you just said. I've been on this platform for about 3 years with nothing to show for.
