I spent a day claiming crypto faucet rewards, you won't believe what happened to me.

It made me hate myself

Yesterday, in my never-ending quest for cryptocurrency and blockchain technology knowledge, I stumbled upon crypto faucets, which is basically a website that gives you fractions of a penny of various cryptos depending on the website.

If you would like to know more about crypto faucets and how to set up a faucet collection account via CoinPot read my blogpost from yesterday.

After writing the aforementioned article I encountered an unexpected bandwidtch wall on Steemit yesterday and was left to devote my internet time to endeavors other than commenting and upvoting on the great content here.

I decided to spend my whole day trying to claim as much crypto as I could from crypto faucets.

This basically entails clicking a claim button on the faucet site and performing some task to prove I was not a robot.

I started out only claiming DOGE because I thought it'd be easier to accumulate whole DOGE coins than any other crypto I could find.

Claim DOGE: http://moondoge.co.in/?ref=880d5eb8d8f1

Every 5 minutes I could claim ~.04 DOGE by simply clicking and typing in the phrase it asked, like this:

But I also got to type in cool phrases like Italian Hoagie or Crossword Puzzle.

I would troll around on something more worthwhile like Reddit or Binance before swinging back by every 5 minutes or so to claim my DOGE. I notice the faucet drips less the longer I waited to claim so I set up the site to ding every 5 minutes to let me know it was time to click and claim my DOGE.

There are so many ads on these sites eventually you end up looking at them whether you mean to or not. I noticed there were other faucets I could claim on top on my DOGE so I started claiming DASH.

Claim DASH: http://moondash.co.in/?ref=4F81386BD4A8

It was just like claiming DOGE except it was DASH and instead of typing in the phrase they commanded, I had to click the pictures in a recaptcha.

THEN...

I realized I could also claim bitcoin cores, in the form of satoshi which is such a cool name, and I had never known what it really stood for, but it's one millionth of a bitcoin, but let it be noted that bitcoin cores are not really bitcoin. It's like bitcoin but slightly cheaper. IDK it's one of those fork things.

So now I'm fucking chugging along claiming from these three faucets every 5 minutes. DING DING DING time to claim some more free crypto. Holy shit man I'm raking in crypto left and right.

THEN...

I stumble upon BIT FUN which allows me to claim free satoshi EVERY THREE MINUTES.

Claim even more SATOSHI: http://bitfun.co/?ref=D9EC71545914

Oh man, I am click, click, clicking. And the more I click the harder the recaptchas get. Then I see BITFUN has games where I can gamble away all the free crypto I have claimed, but I stay away from that because I know I will not make any money off those even though all the games are PROVABLY FAIR.

But then I see there are promo offers...

Where you fill out forms or submit emails or download and play apps or click through slideshows for EVEN MORE SATOSHI!!!

I don't really fill out forms with my personal information or download things for free offers like this because I feel like they are more trouble than they are worth, and I don't recommend you do either.

However...

I did claim approx 5720 satoshi split between a life insurance and a Hard Rock Casino email submit offer, and those were
by far my largest rewards of the day.

I also did like 4 of the slideshows which were with this website called Avenue Viral. The shit sucked because the pages were loaded with ads and I had to wait 15 seconds before I could click to the next slide, but they paid 80 satoshi per slide show and after the first couple slideshows, which were all 27 slides, I realized the payout went through around slide 22 or 23. It was painful and more clicks, but in the time I went through 1 slideshow I only claimed 8 satoshi from the BITFUN satoshi faucet.

I doubled up and clicked through two slideshows at the same time which brought it to 160 SATOSHI vs 8 for the faucet.

The slideshows were also mildly informative with titles like "Unbelievable People Who Changed the World," "Best Superfoods You Need to Start Eating Now," and "Craziest Donald Trump Moments."

Coincidentally, these articles inspired my clickbait title for this post.

By now I am in a flow, hopping from faucet to faucet to slideshow to faucet to slideshow. The recaptchas kept getting harder. At first I only had to check the box that I was not a human, but by now I had to run through the gamut of several signs of cars, then streetsigns, the roads, then back to cars, with the occasional store front mixed in. Eventually I realized that I could choose between Solve Media and Recaptcha, but some of the sights would only let me Recaptcha.

The Recaptchas became so hard, I doubted the very essence of my humanity and wondered if I might, in fact, actually be a robot.

I hit my limit. There is only so much clicking one can do. At least I could sit back and relax knowing that I had put in a hard day of clicking and earned....

Approximately ~$1.24

So yeah, you won't get rich, or even really make any money from faucet claims and satoshi reward offers, but it can quell anxiety by providing (somewhat) purposeful clicking.

One could feasibly claim from faucets whenever they think about it, and maybe at the end of the year have something to show for it, but do it for the novelty and the excitement, not for the satoshi or the DOGE.

Brilliant, just loved that punch-line!

Thanks! Being able to make a blog post about it was the only thing keeping me from being too down about spending so much time on it.

Hahahaha this is so great. This part: “The Recaptchas became so hard, I doubted the very essence of my humanity and wondered if I might, in fact, actually be a robot.” made me laugh 🤪

Thank you for trying these out so that the rest of us dont get caught in them thinking we’ll get rich quick 😂

Thanks for the love, bro.
