10 Reasons Why Dating Apps Suck!

Hello Steemians! I know that online dating sites and apps have been flooded around the internet. Recently, I have delved into this world of online dating just to get a taste of it and yesterday I decided to delete them all from my phone because I'm sick of them and I tell you WHY…

1. Because I want to believe in FATE. It's not going to happen guys…

2. I have realized that by Tindering in public everyone knows what you're doing. No one swipes that quickly on their phone for any other reason. It just looks desperate.

3. If I didn't factor some time into my day to tinder I genuinely feel guilt. Guilty because I have the feeling that someone could have just been sitting there waiting patiently for me to right swipe his face. Oh my god, what has happened to me!

4. I just can't take the excitement that's quickly followed by disappointment anymore - One time I just matched with the hottest guy and he messaged me – If you could have one superpower what would it be? Is it just me or was that question, so irritating and by the way, it would be invisibility :)

5. Now, I had happened on my phone. I'm not sure how many of you also have downloaded it I don't know if it was just built badly or whether it's trying to piss me off but I turned my notifications off for a reason and yet every day on my phone I kept on getting this annoying notification tone!

6. There is nothing cool about the situation, really nothing. If my friends asked me what am I doing.. I tell them.. Oh, just tindering…

7. The bottom line is WE are better than dating apps.

8. It's no secret that dating apps are innately and insanely shallow, I mean I'm not shallow at all, so this one doesn't mean anything for me but you know for the rest of you shallow people :P

9. Now, one of the issues that I've had a lot with dating apps is that I’m matched with maybe a hot guy and then we messaged and he seems to be funny, quick and witty and then when I meet them… It’s totally the opposite!

10. Finally, the last reason why dating apps suck is that I just really don't want to tell my future children how Daddy and I met. Unlike my other couple friends telling their children that they met in a bar and then they locked eyes and the guy
    came over and they said they just… they just knew...

On Tinder, I’m gonna be honest with you guys and myself, I potentially might reinstall the app and might happen next week but currently, this blog is my train of thought. Thanks for reading. Have a good one guys!
