Jakarta trip part 2
The local place where we were doing the measurements:
My friend would come here every 6 months or so to get new readings. I can't speak to the specifics but I believe he was measuring how much waste was compiling over time....or something. He is the doctorate student, not me.
He would drive this rod down into the bank until he hit the bottom - or couldn't push it any longer.
Then pull it back up and we'd mesure.
I guess he really likes this stuff...?

I like Jakarta except for the appalling traffic which is as bad as anywhere I have ever been. Interesting to see the more dilapidated parts. Upvoted.

When you find the thing you're passionate about, it's simply magic. Man, you shoukd invite your friend over to Steemit. I bet that this platform could be a hub for funding scientific pursuits as well.
