Hello my dear Steemian friends, brothers and sisters,

So @dreemsteem and I were talking a few days back, and as it turned out: both of us had a similar idea to spread the love. We both agreed that this kinda thing is needed on this platform right now. For those who didn't know this yet: @anomadsoul and @blocktrades had a contest last week, and we both won a month long @blocktrades scholarship, which means we, and six others will be getting 8 of their upvotes this month. How awesome is that?
@dreemsteem mentioned that she wanted to get a contest going, and I had thought of the same!

But that's not all that we have in common. Although I've followed her for a little while, we only just 'met' and started talking a couple of days ago. And what do we find out?
We're both homeschooling moms.
We both hate shopping (for clothes) and we can both get ready in only a couple of minutes. I know, I know: a man's dream right? 😆 Very true. There aren't many like us...
And book stores make us happy. Well, if that isn't lady fate slapping us around the ears, then I don't know what is...

If you think I am just going to give away my hard-earned 60 Steem, then...well... you're wrong.

But then again: if you insist on doing a dance, of course you can.
Although I think @dreemsteem's contest is better suited for that.

So here's the deal

1. Go and find a brand-new Steemian with the #introduceyourself tag.
   Now, and this is important: it should be someone who did an introduceyourself post before I posted this. For reasons I don't really need to explain I think.
   However, not more than one week old. AND, not from the trending page please...
   Make sure that this is their genuine first introduction, and not the 12th post with the same tag.
   You SHOULD NOT KNOW THEM!

2. Once you found someone who's story you love. Write a few sentences about why you chose them, what you love about their post and so on. It doesn't have to be long, but at least 100 words would be nice. NO MORE THAN 500 words please! Remember: your post is just as important as theirs.

3. Once you've written your post, use the tag #spreadthelovecontest and link it here. Of course, if you want to make a video...you can.

4. Let them know that you entered a contest. Comment and link your post in their introduction post. Because...and here it comes: if you win, they win!
   It's not called Spread-the-love-contest for nothing.
   

The prizes

Because I want to spread the love as much as I can, I am going to have a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

1st place: Both win 15 Steem for a total of 30 Steem

2nd place: Both win 10 Steem for a total of 20 Steem

3rd place: Both win 5 Steem for a total of 10 Steem

I will try to find other judges to make the choices with me, but if I can't, you're gonna have to deal with me alone. If anyone feels the call of being a judge now, please let me know...

I would like to see people who at least engaged a little bit on the platform, so I am going to set a minimum reputation score for you. 40 is the magic number, and to be honest, it will not be hard to have that at least. Of course, this only goes for you. The new Steemian will likely have less...
