Hello, Blockmason community! Another week is upon us, which means it's time for another Weekly Update.

In this edition of the Weekly Update, we'll share updates on Lndr v1.3 available now, how to restore your account if you lose your phone and more.

UI and UX update in Lndr v1.3

Today marks the release of Lndr v1.3. If you are new to Blockmason, Lndr is our peer-to-peer bill splitting, expense sharing and casual debt settlement mobile DApp for iOS and Android which uses the Credit Protocol and Ethereum blockchain to record data. Essentially, it's the "Venmo of the Blockchain."

The release of Lndr v1.3 marks significant UI and UX improvements following the milestone v1.2 update which featured fiat currency settlement through integration with PayPal. Before v1.3, new Lndr users faced a greater learning curve and had fewer options to easily view and maintain transactions. Now, thanks to the UI and UX improvements in v1.3, users will have more information available about existing transactions and an easier time getting started.

We are excited to share some of the improvements in v1.3.

Release v1.3 improvements:

• The addition of welcome walkthroughs for new users
• Lndr now opens on the Friends tab if no friends have been added yet
• Friends with pending transactions are now highlighted in your friends list
• Improvements have been made to easily keep track of your pending friend invites
• Updates to the My Account page to display your profile picture and nickname instead of the Blockmason logo
• Improvements to UX consistency by adding the ability to record transactions on the Friend Detail screen
• The transaction summary breakdown will now include memo descriptions

Lndr development continues at a fast pace - as we continue to accelerate development by the addition of outside talent competing for additional coding bounties. We have a newly updated roadmap so that you can follow along with Lndr's development and know when significant milestones are due. Lndr is our peer-to-peer bill-splitting and expense-sharing mobile app for iOS and Android. It uses the Credit Protocol and the Ethereum blockchain to create, manage and settle casual debts and IOUs between friends. Essentially, "Venmo of the blockchain."

Lndr supports dozens of currencies and allows users to settle debts in Ether (ETH). Lndr now also includes fiat currency settlement through integration with PayPal.

How to restore your account If you lose your phone 📱

Have you ever broken or lost a phone? Whether you're replacing or looking to upgrade, you will eventually want to transfer your Lndr account to a new device. And when that time comes, you will be glad to have read this.

Here's what you need to do to restore your Lndr account:

Step 1: The first thing you will need is your 12-word Mnemonic phrase, which you can access under the settings tab.

Step 2: After tapping "Show 12 Word Mnemonic" confirm your account pin.

Step 3: You will be brought back to the settings tab but now your 12-word Mnemonic will be visible. Save your passphrase somewhere safe and be sure that you can access it if you lose your device.

Step 4: Restore your account by tapping restore account below the create an account button on the login screen. You will then be prompted to enter your passphrase and pin to restore your account. That's it.

Now if you want to upgrade to the latest iPhone or Android device you're all set.
