Imagine if you could share your positive daily actions, and on top of felling amazing already, you still get an extra reward in cryptocurrency. It might seem to good to be true but it's really here, and it's called KARMA!

Overview:

KARMA App is a decentralized app built on EOSIO blockchain, it incentivizes users to have beneficial interactions by giving cryptocurrency proportionally to the engagement they have on their posts. The premisse is that by incentivazing users to act in the best interest of humanity it will create an espiral of good will that could have a positive impact in the world.

App Functionalities:

1. Voting:

Voting is what regulates the ecosystem, users can up-vote or down-vote content, similar to how likes work on main stream social media platforms. The amount of up-votes you get on your posts will dictate how much KARMA you will receive from the content creation rewards pool.

2. Types of Content:

Users can share either videos or photos, although keep in mind that there is a big difference when it comes to the ration of rewards distribution per type of content. Videos get 95% of the KARMA alocated in the rewards pool, whereas photos only get the remaining 5%, the reason for this is that video content draws more engagement and brings more authenticity to the posts in order to reduce fake posts and spam. Users can also engage in comments for further interaction.

3. In-App Wallet:

Within KARMA there is a wallet where users can check balance, send and stake KARMA tokens. Powering up basically allows you to have more influence on the ecosystem, this will increase your voting power, meaning you will have a heavier influence on the each action you preform on the network.

4. Upcoming Functionalities:

The current version of KARMA is of course still in it's early stage, therefore this version is kind of a MVP but still with a very good user experience and with minimal bugs. Some of the upcoming functions would include: sorting out content by categories, Karma idea generator to help spark ideas of what users could do to provide value to others, and many more features will be added.

I'm an Ambassador for KARMA as I'm really passionate about this project. This is the kind of projects that will start a new wave of EOS dapps, I'm just tired of seeing EOS resources being used in gambling when there is so much more that we can do.
