House for sale in Bitcoin

A house for sale ad has attracted much attention in Croatia when it became known that it is the first real estate in the country that can be bought in Bitcoin.

A house has gone on sale in Croatia for the amount of 10 Bitcoins. The 275 sqm property which also has a 470 sqm garden is located near the town of Zaprešić in Croatia.

The owner who wanted to remain anonymous says that when submitting the ad, he thought why not to include this new increasingly popular form of payment.

"We did not want to exclude this possibility and we are very much satisfied with the interests of potential buyers," the owner commented.
