Blockchain, the non-securities...

in #blockchain7 years ago

I came across this Clif High video today that was recorded in Oct 2017.
Its a really great video because not only does it give a perspective of using crypto space in a place like Russia (yes I am well aware that tons of change and shifting has taken place since that time). But important because it is difficult to get information about what is happening in Russia, esp from a business perspective.

The other thing I like about this is that the power I see in the crypto space is in the non-securities part of the Blockchain. Which are the real movers and bringing long term solidity to the use of Blockchain.
The non-securities for instance: Land and property titles, shipping and offshore drilling rig inspections, container tracking in shipping, ect.

In the case of the man being interviewed not only the inspections taking place with the sand on his property, but also the transfer of sand and who its going to.

The reason the non-securities are the mover is because if you have ever done business of any kind, you will know things like the tracking of product or finding an inspection can be monumental headaches. The cost savings in these aspects alone will speak volumes to any person who understands business.

The value of something like bitcoin at this time is in breaking the old financial paradigm (the value of a well placed monkey wrench). Once the blockchain and cryptos are established, the current perceived value of Bitcoin will go away and transition to being a global layer settlement coin because of its function. However there is still time before this really kicks in and still lots of space to play in.

The other reason this video is important is because the coin or token is connected with an actual service that someone is offering. With the blockchain just about any and all businesses that deal in creating a 3rd party trust will be going away. Or become a very, very small niche market dealing in archived pre-blockchain information.

Its already getting very interesting, very quickly.
