The Revolution has begun...

The pyramid is a model of human organization. It represents a top down hierarchy with the few at the top, controlling the many at the bottom, via the useful idiots in the middle.

We can see this on the internet where power has consolidated into just a handful of mega sites. Google/Youtube, Twitter and Facebook are giants that control the flow of information. Hence they exert disproportionate control over public perception.

A war of information has begun. We watch helplessly as free speech is sequestered under the pretext of political correctness. Google fire dissidents. Facebook tweak algorithms to favor trivia. Youtube remove videos to suit their political agenda.

So the timing of the BLOCKCHAIN could not have come at a better time. Blockchain decentralizes the ownership of data while preserving the anonymity of the participants. In other words - no need for top down centralized control. Everyone owns the data. New blockchain based sites are popping up every day.

It's early days yet. None of the blockchain sites are perfect. Time will tell whether the current crop will survive. But the technology is here to stay. It's growing and morphing every day. A revolution has begun...
