NETBOX.GLOBAL: NETBOX BLOCK-CHAIN WEB-BROWSER

in #blockchain5 years ago

INTRODUCTION
A web-browser is what gives you access to things, utilities or sites (places) on the internet or World Wide Web. The use of internet-browsers posseses its own history. Computer scientists began with the introduction of Nexus browser (formerly called WorldWideWeb) in 1990 which was the only browser then, after which 'Lynx' was introduced in 1992. 'Mosaic', another browser was later developed and introduced in 1993, then, 'Netscape' in '94, Microsoft's own 'Internet Explorer' in '95, 'Opera' in '96, 'Safari' (2003). Meanwhile, the popular 'Firefox' came out in 2004, while Google's highly competitive 'Chrome' first showed up around 2008, before 'Opara-mini' in 2011. Each of them was an improvement on or rather solutions to previous ones. This brought about competition between them or should we call it 'War' - war of web-browsers (There has been over the years, frequent updates by these browser-companies in order to make their products more fit for the war. The common ones today include, Opera, Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari and so on.

WHAT BLOCK-CHAIN CAN DO TO WEB-BROWSERS
Block-chain, as we know, is a technology that provides high level of security, openness, seamlessness (no third party interferences and as a result), speed.
Well, for us to really know what advantages block-chain can offer the internet and 'web-browsing', it will be nice for us to recall some of the issues being faced by it.

PRIVACY & SECURITY: A SIGNIFICANT BROWSERS ISSUE
Generally, browsers issues include that of speed, users' interface flexibility and satisfaction, crashes, etc but these are not the most jeopardizing of them all. They do not pose much threat and can for concern like the issue of users' privacy and security.
There are almost countless number of both popular and unpopular browsers on devices globally and they normally operate on a central system or architecture such that the company, for instance, who owns them control the centrally and make decisions concerning changes in the browsers as well as privacy issues and users' data. This is known as centralization. The browser companies in one way or the other have access to users' data and control users' privacy. Users don't know what information about them are being sent by these browsers to these central controllers.
Moreover, there is the no certainty on avoidance of hacks and breaches. With the centralization feature in browsing, there is always the possibility of leakages of various forms of users' data and these may lead to grave consequences.

So, let's talk about Block-chain...
BLOCK-CHAIN IN WEB-BROWSERS: TRANSPARENT, CONFIDENTIAL AND DECENTRALIZED
Block-chain is a de-centralized ledger system that ensures a highly secure platform, confidentiality, openness, no need for central or third parties, seamlessness and speed as a result of the above features. Block-chain, when incorporated into Web-browsing, will definitely provide all these features and solve the security/privacy issues of web-browsing that is being faced by internet-users.

Let's talk about NetBox.Global System and Netbox.Browser
Netbox.Global is a block-chain-powered structure or system with block-chain-based products such as Netbox.Browser, Netbox.Chain, Netbox.Store, Netbox.Wallet, and so on. They are all designed on the de-centralized, distributed system. What about the Netbox.Browser, which is the centre of this discussion:

NETBOX.BROWSER
1st Block-chain-powered web-brower: Yes! It certainly is!
Decentralized: Netbox.browser, unlike the normal browsers that has been used over the last two decades, is not built on a centralized system, that is, it is de-centralized.
No central party needed: Since it's decentralized, no third party control is needed.
Community Collective decisions: Unlike on the centralized system browsers, decisions on browser update or improvement are made by the decentralized community of users'.
Transparency: Since it's a distributed architecture, there is openness.
Secure, reliable and speedy: Block-chain is inarguably known for it's ability to ensure security, privacy and speed. The issue of hacks and breaches is now being controlled.

CONCLUSION
We can see that the block-chain-powered Netbox.Browser is a highly advantageous solution to the problem of privacy and security that internet-browser users have been exposed the years. It is a very noteworthy development in the history of web-browsing. Users will now be less prone to dangerous consequences as a result of lack of privacy. The unbreakable feature of block-chain also prevents hacks and breaches.
