Blockchain technology protecting Countries' democracy.

Just of recent, the government of Uganda decided to increase the regulations on NGOs after they found out that they were promoting activities of people that were protesting their policies. Policies like mobile money and social media tax, removal of term limits had been passed by the government against the people's will to which they reacted through protests which did not rhyme well with the government that has been widely known for not respecting human rights.

NGOs have always been known to fund people that unite and protest poor government policies, the main reason why the goverment has started imposing heavy tariffs on them. This is aimed at discouraging them from funding activities against the state. Through their centralised system of governance, governments regulate people, the economy and everything else at their own will since they control all the systems including the banks. But how far can they go with blockchain getting adopted around the world more than ever.

The decentralised system of governance that comes with blockchain technology renders the power of the government useless. As long as people establish themselves under a blockchain, they set their own rules and only people in the network can access their information and excise power over their system. This makes it impossible for the government to follow up their activities, where their funds come from and and where they lead to since they can never access their ledgers. People thus get free to express their rights since the NGOs would continue supporting them. This is a much achieved democracy that people in most countries strive to have and only blockchain can guarantee.
