MESG: Decentralized Modules for Business Development

in #blockchain6 years ago (edited)

MESG is an infrastructure that connects business and developer to a single ecosystem where they can share, build, re-use and utilize shared resources and a blockchain. To put it simply, MESG will help developers and business to build their apps and connect it to a blockchain to achieve some purposes.

Problems & Mission

MESG aims to solve the scaling problem of traditional business. It also aims to solve the costly development process where developers face several technical problems due to lack of interoperability and connectivity between apps or framework. MESG will help them by providing an infrastructure where business, developers, and any parties involved can scale, with the most minimum cost and compatibility with older devices.

Modules

If you see their GitHub, you can already check what kind of product that they build. You can also run it right now, which is pretty cool considering most crypto start-up doesn't have a working product yet. You'll notice several things such as apps where we can use it to buy ERC20 tokens with Stripe.

More or less, these apps/modules are how MESG works in action. MESG will provide modules, connections, and interoperability for every party involved in the ecosystem. These modules will help developers and business to develop application faster & cheaper.

Developers can make and license their own modules so that everytime someone uses it, they'll get rewards in form of MESG tokens. Miners who will be the network supporter needs to stake tokens as collateral, and in turn, they'll get rewards for their contribution. This way, business or start-up can use MESG to access resource and use modules with cheaper cost compared to the traditional way.

Competition

MESG competition is cloud services such as #Google Cloud, #Amazon AWS, or something like #Serverless, AION, and so on. In other words, any infrastructure to run apps/services online can be considered a competitor to MESG, either crypto or non-crypto project.

Some competitors have already "conquer" the market, but that doesn't mean MESG is not competitive. The most important selling point for MESG, after its relatively low cost to use, is the flexibility by developers or business to use. The nature of modules, where everyone can make and use and then get rewards is something that should be able to attract interest from a lot of people.

Even though the competition is though, MESG already has good funding support from Yellow, a blockchain incubator. They already raised around $2 million, which is a good amount to start a start-up. According to their roadmap, Q1 2020 should be the target for the full platform launch. This means, with 1-2 years of development we can expect MESG to be fully functional and should attract some interest from potential customers.

Conclusion

This is a short introduction to MESG. Let's review some interesting points:

  • MESG is an infrastructure to help business, developers and other interested parties to scale their ecosystem with very little cost.
  • MESG will use blockchain to empower the ecosystem, using its MESG tokens (coins) as the economic incentive and currency in the MESG platform.
  • There are several competitors to MESG. However, with the way MESG provide modules and how it works, we can expect interesting development in the space.

To put it simply, MESG is worth to watch further. Their GitHub is active and I'd love to see more development to happens in the near future. You can learn more about them via these links below:

This is really impressive ! inter blockchain communication is the next step !

Certainly. But I think MESG is more about apps development though. I think their interoperability lies on the modules that we can use to build or upgrade apps across many development stacks. That's what I understand from the WP at least.

Thank you so much for sharing this amazing post with us!

Have you heard about Partiko? It’s a really convenient mobile app for Steem! With Partiko, you can easily see what’s going on in the Steem community, make posts and comments (no beneficiary cut forever!), and always stayed connected with your followers via push notification!

Partiko also rewards you with Partiko Points (3000 Partiko Point bonus when you first use it!), and Partiko Points can be converted into Steem tokens. You can earn Partiko Points easily by making posts and comments using Partiko.

We also noticed that your Steem Power is low. We will be very happy to delegate 15 Steem Power to you once you have made a post using Partiko! With more Steem Power, you can make more posts and comments, and earn more rewards!
