MediBloc: The Ideal Improvement of our Medical System

The issue of Health Cannot be over looked, for Health they say is wealth. According to Wikipedia, Health "is the ability of a biological system to acquire, convert, allocate, distribute, and utilize energy with maximum efficiency". Even biblical, from the book of 3 John 1:2;

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

But according to Newton's third law of motion which states that to every action they must be an equal or opposite Reaction,to this reason, the definition above has been subject to controversy, in particular as lacking operational value, the ambiguity in developing cohesive health strategies and also because our Medical system has been in a state of uncertainty where our Medical data has been a subject of concern leading to some problems which cannot be ignored. They are numerous problems facing our Medical system but a few will be discussed below;

• LACK OF PRIVACY

This is one of the problems facing our Medical system today whereby the ability of a patient to seclude themselves, or information about themselves, and thereby express themselves selectively. This factor denies the individual the privacy of his/her own medical card. Let's take a case study of a patient that doesn't want an information to be disclosed to a third party,this been a barrier in essence will not make it to be possible.

• LACK OF ACCOUNTABILITY

Yes this is another problem Medical system are facing whereby Medical Center attendants cannot verge for or account for a patients medical report data, sometimes patients data may not be even up to date as some may have scattered the records of the data in question.

• LACK OF DIGITALIZATION

Mathematically we are living in a world of base 10,where ancient means of doing things should be aborted. Yes I said it.....this is also one major factor dragging the medical system down and it is for sure dragging the medical sector down, it helps to delay a patient time and also could result in inefficiency of results reasons been that things are done manually and could result in inefficiency.

Joyfully, everything has a solution of which Matthew 11:28 is also in line with;

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Over the years, medical institutions has been a subject of doubt because they have been keeping and managing medical records of patients. But to a large extent the reliability and effectiveness of the data stored or presented are questionable as corporations only make available to users the data they want and sometimes, the people working in medical institutions may intentionally wants to hide or release some data with or without the patient concernt. They also excite challenges of poor data management and some that the patient may not want to share with public are sometimes released without the consent of the patients.

This problem been notified, there was a need and a better system that can profer the desired factors needed for the advancement of the present day Medical system. Born out of this need then came MediBloc.
On this regard, A team of Doctors formed by Dr. Allen Wookyun Kho and Dr. Eunsol Lee were conscienced as much as we are about this situation, so they took the time out to find a solution to this long-standing problem thinking that the Blockchain technology would be the solution and created. Now,

MediBloc, is a platform that allows the patient to have their medical records stored in a decentralized way and without limits of access to it, having total control in real time accessing through an App from their cellular equipment. MediBloc is completely reshaping medical health care in order to improve health care further. They also offer an open-source API and SDK, these are tools the developer can use to implement new services within the MediBloc platform.

, the centralized medical records system can suffer hacks or attack reasons been that they do not carry the same level of security that the blockchain has. On this regard, MediBloc team has decided to build their own blockchain because that will allow them to fully harness the power of blockchain without being limited to what existing networks offer.

• What is BlockChain?

A blockchain, is a continuously growing list of records, called blocks, which are linked and secured using cryptography. It is "an open, distributed ledger that can record transactions between two parties efficiently and in a verifiable and permanent way". Using blockchain technology, MediBloc can ensure that the patients data is only shared with their permission.

MediBloc is keen on changing the Medical data industry and giving people/patients the full access and control over their medical records. The advantages of MediBloc cannot be over emphasized but a few will be highlighted as follows;

Time is of high essence, therefore the introduction of MediBloc will serve as an advantage been that things will be done with the digital MediBloc and not done manually therefore giving more effectiveness and better results.

• PROVIDES PRIVACY;

This is one major benefit of the MediBloc because it puts the control of medical data back into the hands of patients. it gives patients complete power over their medical data, patients can now choose to give permission to their health data.

• HIGH RELIABILITY;

This is another important advantage of the MediBloc, the data generated would be very reliable as users cannot just delete or modify that supplied which will spoil the integrity and reliability of medical records on the Mediblocs. When it comes to reliability issue, big corporations handling medical records may not want some information that are reliable to get to users and as such may alter the data given out. Or may remove part of the data supplied while keeping to themselves the genuine one. This issue is going to be a thing of the past with MediBloc.

• MAXIMUM SECURITY;

The case of security is now a thing if the past since MediBloc has been put in place, The Medibloc have the advantage over the conventional system of medical record keeping and record availability as the issue of security of the data or record given would be of paramount concern because medical records must be kept confidential. So big corporations in the business that have been keeping medical records would have their rights taken from them which would be given to individual patients. In this pursuance, individual patient will have the authority to access, decrypt and collect their medical record with the use of the blockchain technology

• HIGH LEVEL OF TRANSPIRACY;

Yes it offers it. Just like the blockchain technology does, the transparency of transactions is a prominent feature of the technology. So, Medibloc will offer a transparent records of the activity of users who read, write and access information on the Medibloc and as well give detail of where, when and what purpose data supplied is being used. In this pursuance, no more exploitation of healthcare information.

MediBloc token and main net MED & MEDX

The MEdiBloc platform is an EVM (one of the most widely use in executing smart contracts) based Decentralization App (known as DApp). There are three categories of information to be put in place and these are MED balance, Personal Information and Healthcare data. These information would be encrypted and saved both on the blockchain and the backup from a database that would be used.

On the platform there would be a MediBloc accounts. There are different accounts depending on the category of MediBloc users one wants to be. The accounts can be for General Users, Healthcare Providers, Data Researchers. At the center of the platform is MediBloc as an intermediary between the users (which can belong to any of the three categories mentioned above).
