#
Is counterfeiting going to be an endangered life in crime in the future?

I had lunch with my Mom yesterday and I was trying to explain blockchain technology to her. I could see the blank look on her face, she is in her 80's,........ as I tried to explain the “technical” aspects of blockchain based ledgers. But, I told her to envision buying a high end purse, “Michael Kors” and in the future being able to know for sure it was the real thing…… probably in years to come you will be able to scan the item with your phone to know immediately….. like scanning a lotto ticket.
So, I started thinking, will governments go blockchain on everything? Money? Probably…. Health records? Articles of ownership? Licensing? Voting????????
What’s going to happen to many government paper pushing jobs that will be replaced by using blockchain technology?
Some great pieces I have read are here:
Blockchain in government
Supply chain management using blockchain technology
I’m eager to learn more about this great technology so if you have information to add I’d love to hear your opinions…
