RE: ANNOUNCING: ONSTELLAR

@onstellar
Hey this looks awesome!

To me this sounds like a better Steemit.
Do you see Steemit itself and all the drama related to the reward pool mechanics being ultimately replaced by something ironically built on top of it like OnStellar?

Speaking of which, what are SMT's relationship to the steem blockchain? If we just suppose hypothetically that something comes along that is so much better than Steemit that it causes Steem to eventually lets say go to 1 cent just to make it obvious. Is there any negative effect on a SMT like yours? See I understand Ethereum because it's not a platform in itself it's more of a host and the oil through which all the blockchains built on it's network function. Steemit is something which could be reproduced and improved and potentially made redundant as a platform. What then?

PS: I am really hoping for SMT developers to reward Steem holders with some airdrops!.

After all there is already such a large community of people that are using Steemit, which is such a similar platform. Busy or DTube or DMania are just front ends to Steemit, but while your project is using the Steem blockchain it's using it's own token. The fact that it's such a similar project means there's a sort of conflict of interest where people have to choose which to divide their attention. An airdrop would solve this and guarantee Steemits users would find it free to check out which i would have thought would make it more valuable and attractive.

I mean it doesn't have to be a 1 for 1 airdrop it could be done many ways but still something that rewards Steem holders would draw a lot more interest just because of that.

(here's where you tell me you said there would be in your post I just missed it)
