Over the past few months, the cryptocurrency community has been interested in a mysterious bot on the Ethereum blockchain that manipulates the Max Extraction Value (MEV).
This is the maximum amount of value that can be extracted from each block in the Ethereum network by affecting its content or order.
For example, a sandwich attack manipulates the price of an asset a user is about to trade by performing two transactions around that trade.
