ICO Safety Precautions
As way of answering a number of questions from potential BitDegree token crowdsale participants about hacking and safety issues during the BitDegree token crowdsale, the following blog postcontains a number of safety-ensuring recommendations for the event. The token crowdsale will begin on December 1st, 2017.

Our main one-way communication channel is Twitter. All important announcements during the crowdsale will be posted on our official Twitter account. Any BitDegree-related announcements coming from any account that is not ours should not be trusted. BitDegree team members will not post anything crowdsale related from their personal accounts.

Telegram is our main two-way communication channel.
Telegram is our main two-way communication channel where community members can ask questions and hold discussions. All important announcements will be posted there. If you receive a Private Message from someone claiming to be part of the BitDegree team, please verify this with us on our public channel. We will not send you any PM. If this happens, please inform us on the official Telegram channel. This will help protect you and other community members from scammers.

We will never send you any emails containing the BitDegree wallet address.
The only place where you will find the correct address to the BitDegree wallet is on our website https://www.bitdegree.org. It will be announced on the day of the crowdsale, December 1st.
On Thursday, November 31st, we will make a live Q&A session on Facebook. Join us, and our team will answer your questions live on livestream. During the crowdsale, follow our updates on Twitter, which will be the main source of all BitDegree news.

ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK THE WEBSITE ADDRESS FOR SECURITY!
The only legitimate website is https://www.bitdegree.org. Any other similar looking URLs are not related to BitDegree and should not be trusted. To ensure that the website is correct, check the address on your browser and double check that web address is not incorrectly spelt.
Crowdsale Address
The crowdsale address will be announced ONLY on the BitDegree website.
The BitDegree crowdsale address will be announced on the BitDegree website on December 1st! Immediately before the start of the crowdsale, we will post a video in which our CEO, Andrius Putna will reveal the last digits of the BitDegree Crowdsale address. To ensure that your transfers are going to the correct wallet address, ensure that the address matches the one on the video and the website. Double check everything and stay secure.

We do not have Slack.
It is common for ICOs to use Slack, but due to the high-rates of misuse we have dropped it in favor of Telegram.
