Countries like Sweden have financed and awarded funding to companies like Chromaway, who do Blockchain real estate smart contracts without a need for bankers, brokers or lawyers.
Contracts without the good ole boy network :) and customary fees :) and much much faster :)

Many nations of Africa are adapting to blockchain for the banking needs of those who are to remote or poor for traditional banking.
Several small Island nations in the Caribbean are utilizing smart contracts.
Xapo in countries like Venezuela, and the list of nations adopting Bitcoin and or Blockchain technologies, is growing fast.
it is very encouraging to see this. But the game changer, will most likely be, when major corporations adopt Blockchain technologies for their day to day activity ledgers

The really cool thing i see is just like the cell phone was originally a mobile digital communication tool ( that was somewhat bulky and only used by the elite) has morphed into a laptop/tablet computer that is also a video recorder .... the Blockchain is going to morph into so much more than a digital currency ledger...

When sovereign nations adopt the technology for civil uses: and corporations adopt it for day to day ledgers (of all activity, not just financial) it speaks volumes to the diversity of Blockchain technology and it's potential applications.

This might sound silly, but history as we know it has been a ledger of mankind... I think someday the history of man in its entirety will be accurately displayed on the Blockchain. Time stamped and accurate history protected from those who would alter historical records for benefit or bias. High school students logging onto the block chain to pull up their history assignments.

Heres one to chew on, could the Blockchain establish over time a single world language that gradually became everyone's 2nd language. I think the capacity of the Blockchain technology to improve the world is going to manifest itself in communication technology. Communication is what truly changes the world.
Decentralized unbiased, border-less communication and (contracts) agreements between peoples of the world.

Within a decade I expect to see Blockchain technology as a required course in high schools and even advanced degrees in colleges right here in the USA.
