My mantra is, the key to being a successful writer is loving writing. When you hit the wall and get writer's block, the best way to get back on your game is to re-find your desire/passion/love. When you've got it, writing is never work and (almost) always enjoyable. If you love what you're doing, others will to. If you don't, they won't either.
