Matthew 5:16 "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your father in heaven."

The sun is our major source of physical light. But Christ is our spiritual light. He provides for us spiritually what the sun does for us physically. We look to Christ as our source of light and energy. Without spiritual light there would be no eternal life. Without spiritual light, spiritual darkness would result in only intense evil that the world would be a terrible place in which to live.

Whatever your past hurts, meditate on Matt. 5:16. The Holy Spirit will lead you and guide you, and teach you all things. You will have a testimony.

We live in the world and our Christ-likeness should be evident to all.
