I've been promoted to blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Long story short, my country has very little people doing the sport and the highest ranked people so far are only blue belts. Recently a purple belt friend, teammate and instructor came back and promoted a couple people from our small team ...

We took a little trip to Altun Ha one of the Mayan temples to celebrate.

congratulations my friend. It is crazy to me the idea of being a non whitebelt in bjj in an area where very few people are training in it. where I live if you want to train in bjj you have a variety of schools to choose from. there are 4 or 5 (and that's just considering schools I know for a fact to be good quality schools) talk about an exclusive group :O)
think of it this way you are one of the best jiu jitsu people in your country :P
