DaoStreet & The Bitshares Infrastructure Upgrade
I discovered Bitshares Fall 2017 and instantly became fascinated with the technology. I am a soon-to-be graduate of Michigan Law School and avid cryptoasset enthusiast. Ryan (@ryking) is a soon-to-be graduate of the Ross School of Business at U of M and is interested in researching and implementing innovative platforms within the Decentralized Autonomous Company (DAC) sphere. Both of us are fascinated by blockchain technology, in particular Delegated Proof-of-Stake (the blockchain architecture powering Bitshares & Steem). We hope to apply and adapt the principles we learned in the traditional business/education world to this transformational technology.
When we first tried to connect to the network we were unable to sign transactions because the latency was too high. We began working with Apasia.tech to develop a more robust node infrastructure system. Our objective was simple: help people like us access the Bitshares Decentralized-Exchange network easily.
In endeavoring towards the common goal of strengthening the Bitshares infrastructure, Ryan and I allied with Apasia.tech (@murda-ra @britcoins @apasia.tech) for the last two months testing the robustness of the nodes we launched two days ago. The team has made incredible progress releasing 25 Public World Wide RPC BitShares nodes. (Our friends at Apasia.tech have supplied greater detail -https://steemit.com/bitshares/@apasia.tech/update-bitshares-massive-infrastructure-upgrade-public-demo-available-now)

All feedback welcome. We hope this will make your experience on the DEX more enjoyable. See you all in the comments below. We look forward to a future with the Bitshares Community and the freedom this technology will enable.
Thank you for your continued support of SteemSilverGold
Appreciating your efforts and posts on Bitshares @john-robert, i joined Bitshares same time but you seem to understand the ununderstandable parts much better :-)
And you are on steem as well. It is clear you know enough about the powerful technology powering both bts and steem.
DPOS yes but i still don't dare to work with bitUSD for example. I don't see how it can stay pegged to dollar in case BTS would drop to less than half or third of its value.
bitUSD is a novel approach to utilizing smart contracts with a very simple objective - establish a degree of trust in environments where trust it at a premium (like the internet). It functions well under most circumstances and the future looks promising for bitUSD.
Valuing your endeavors and posts on Bitshares. After joined Bitshares however you appear to comprehend the parts much better
Thanks - Bitshares is a never-ending rabbit hole.
definitely...
Do you like what you hear about EOS?
it’s mostly price-charts-less so probably traders won’t enojoy it so much
do you mean that EOS is speculative at this point?
Confused....but there is a question , while the distribution is going , what makes the price goes up ?
Before June, the price of an EOS token is entirely speculative. Meaning there is little fundamental analysis that can be done for its value. That being said, there are a lot of interesting projects looking to develop further on the EOS chain starting this summer.
hello there, thanks for the news about Bitshares , I acknowledge more about it from here . :) @john-robert
Thanks for your great contribution.
It carries much valuable information.
