[QUESTION]- openledger vs blocktrades, why steemit chose blocktrades as main partner for steemit?

Hello!

I am fascinated by the amount of awesome tech and people in bitshares and graphene community. Bitshares is currently traded on openledger (which itself seems to be awesome tech). Why hasn't steemit chosen openledger as it's main partner?
